About Sarah Mayes

Sarah Anne Therapy is my vocation. It brings me joy to connect with and support people in loving, creative and empowering ways. I also think that attending to our deeper well-being really matters: it has ripple effects that can touch and enrich the whole.

I am a Registered Counsellor; Group Facilitator; and qualified (though non-practising) Lawyer and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. I’ve worked in such areas as: crisis support; dispute resolution for separated families; community law; public policy; microfinance; disability services; and aged and dementia care. Formalities aside, it is through my own felt intimacy with life that I am able to professionally support you – with all of my Heart.

Success! You're on the list.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the beautiful land upon which I live and work. I pay my respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. I also honour the resilience, wisdom and courage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the face of the ongoing physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual impact of colonisation across Australia.
